I've been going to Salon Jean for the past year and I cannot think of going anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and they have a wealth of services to offer, INCLUDING Botox and Radiesse. My hair always looks amazing when I leave, and they are so helpful in giving tips for styling at home. The front desk is very accommodating and welcoming; DEFINATELY the experience I want to have when I'm getting beauty services. I highly recommend it. :-D I don't know what the review below me is talking about, I have never had that kind of problem at Salon Jean.
My daughter and I went in, both with very long hair that was all one length. I disastrously saw Jean, she saw Jacob. Before meeting the stylist, the assistant washed our hair, which was odd, considering I would think the stylist would want to see hair dry before consulting on what to do. Jean asked me what I wanted and I said a trim with a little bit of shaping. My trim became 4-5 inches of chunky, ugly, uneven cutting in the front. So now I have a chunk of long hair in the back and some ugly, chunky bob in the front. My hair went from several inches past my armpit to my shoulders. Jean just gave me the haircut she wanted to give me without listening. I told her it was way too much during the cut and she just said "it just seems that way because of the way I cut". It will take two years to grow back my beautiful hair. My daughter saw Jacob and he was great - her hair is still beautiful and long with a conservative trim.
Made an appointment for spa services, however, the gal who does the booking set it up for the wrong day. It happens. Salon Jean staff called and informed me that they charged my credit card for the services anyway, since I was a "no show." Naturally I was upset because it was their booking error that caused all the confusion. I asked to speak with a manager and was told, "management agrees that if was not our fault and we need to charge you." My credit card company was more than happy to reverse the charges, but it makes you wonder about the business accumen of the salon owners who are willing to chase off a potential repeat customer in order to try and scam a quick $50. Ya know?
